A production-used clapperboard from John Landis' black comedy Burke & Hare.

Used by the 'A' camera unit during filming, the clapperboard consists of an acrylic slate with a wooden clapper fixed to the top. The production title "Burke & Hare" is printed in red and the names of director John Landis and director of photography John Mathieson are printed in black. Outlined boxes divide the slate into fields for scene, slate and take, two of which still feature written details. The last date it was used is marked as "19th March 2010" and "A192" is written as the roll number. The clapper shows minor wear, including scuff marks to the paint on the clapper arm and light scratches to the acrylic. Dimensions: 3.5 cm x 19 cm x 17.5 cm (1¼" x 7½" x 7")
