Stephen of Ireland's (David O'Hara) stunt Scottish war hammer from Mel Gibson's historical drama Braveheart. Stephen used his hammer in the Battle of Stirling Bridge against the English with William Wallace (Mel Gibson).

This lot consists of a hammer made of a rubber hammerhead, metal braces, and a wooden handle. The hammerhead has four short prongs on one side and a spike on the other. Along the handle is a label from production marked "Stephen: - Stirling [sic]." It exhibits intentional distressing by production and restoration work post-production on the hammerhead and is very fragile. Dimensions: 31.25" x 10" x 1.25" (79.5 cm x 25.5 cm x 3.25 cm)
