A set of "Best Actress" Academy Awards® envelopes and winner cards from Mick Jackson's romantic thriller The Bodyguard. Frank (Kevin Costner) ran onto the stage at the Academy Awards® ceremony and took a bullet for Rachel Marron (Whitney Houston) as she walked on stage to accept the award for Best Actress.

The lot comprises six cream-coloured envelopes, each featuring "Best Actress" printed on the front and a metallic red paper seal on the back. Inside the envelopes are cards featuring Rachel's name and "Queen of the Night", the film she was nominated for. One of the cards features the text in gold-foil lettering, and the other displays black printed text. Two envelopes are open, while the remaining four are sealed, and the two open examples exhibit marks. Dimensions (each envelope): 13.5 cm x 18.5 cm (5 1/4" x 7 1/4")
