This lot will be auctioned on Friday, November 4th. A set of fifty tour photographs featuring English rock band Black Sabbath. The images include candid shots of performances, rehearsals, backstage and various locations during tours in the 1970s. They feature photos of Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward and their crew. Annotations and "D.Tangye" are handwritten in blue ink on the back of some images. Dimensions (each): 9 cm x 8.5 cm (3 1/2" x 3 1/4")

Additional Provenance:

This lot comes from the personal collection of David Tangye. He worked closely with Black Sabbath and went on to be Ozzy Osbournes personal assistant. He co-authored How Black Was Our Sabbath: An Unauthorised View From The Crew with fellow crew member Graham Wright.
