This lot will be auctioned on Friday, November 4th. A collection of eleven original concert tickets for an assortment of performances by English rock band Black Sabbath. Ten of the tickets are for venues around the UK, and one is for a gig at Howard Stein's Capitol Theatre in New York.

Printed on various coloured card and paper, each ticket features the venue name, performers, seat number and some display the price. Half of the Capitol Theatre ticket has been torn away, and the lot exhibits some discolouration from age. Dimensions (largest ticket): 7 cm x 10.5 cm (2 3/4" x 4 1/4")

Additional Provenance:

This lot comes from the personal collection of David Tangye. He worked closely with Black Sabbath and went on to be Ozzy Osbournes personal assistant. He co-authored How Black Was Our Sabbath: An Unauthorised View From The Crew with fellow crew member Graham Wright.
