A set of Australia and New Zealand tour ephemera for English rock band Black Sabbath. The lot comprises an Australian Tour '73 pass; a green Trans-Australia Airlines luggage tag; a kangaroo-shaped sticker; a "Fragile" luggage tag; a "British Rock 'N Roll Month" sticker; and assorted paperwork relating to the Great Ngaruawahia Music Festival, including a poster. The festival took place on the 6th, 7th and 8th of January 1973 and was the first large outdoor music festival in New Zealand. The poster displays fold lines from storage. Dimensions (poster): 87.5 cm x 61.5 cm (34 1/2" x 24 1/4")

Additional Provenance:

This lot comes from the personal collection of David Tangye. He worked closely with Black Sabbath and went on to be Ozzy Osbournes personal assistant. He co-authored How Black Was Our Sabbath: An Unauthorised View From The Crew with fellow crew member Graham Wright.
