A film reel depicting the Viper coming into view from Richard A. Colla's 1978 sci-fi film Battlestar Galactica. Reeling from a disastrous surprise attack by the artificial life forms known as the Cylons, the survivors of the Twelve Colonies band together under the protection of an antiquated warship, the Battlestar Galactica, in the hope of finding a new home out amongst the stars.

The spool of film is 4 perf and features multiple frames of the clapperboard noting scene information and production information and multiple frames of the Viper coming into view. This reel remains in good condition with some tape residue from production.
