"Fleeing from the Cylon Tyranny, the last battlestar Galactica leads a ragtag fugitive fleet on a lonely quest... a shining planet known as Earth."

A dyeline used in the production of the original incarnation of the sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica.

Reeling from a disastrous surprise attack by the artificial life forms known as the Cylons, the survivors of the Twelve Colonies band together under the protection of an antiquated warship the Battlestar Galactica in the hope of finding a new home out amongst the stars.

This dyeline, created by the art department for the creation of model miniatures and based on artwork by concept artist Steve Amos, is an illustration of the dreaded Cylon Basestars that torment the Galactica and the fleet searching for Earth. The artwork shows the make-up of the Cylon Basestar surface and has pencil sketches present on the right hand side used to help design the ship's elaborate panel shapes.

This print shows some wear to the paper which has a yellow tint due to age, however it remains in overall good production used condition, and comes presented in a custom-made framed display featuring the show's title artwork.

Materials: Paper, Wood, Card, Acrylic.
