A film reel depicting the Galactica and fleet crossing from Richard A. Colla's 1978 sci-fi film Battlestar Galactica. Reeling from a disastrous surprise attack by the artificial life forms known as the Cylons, the survivors of the Twelve Colonies band together under the protection of an antiquated warship, the Battlestar Galactica, in the hope of finding a new home out amongst the stars.

The spool of film is 4 perf and features multiple frames of the Galactica and fleet crossing, an iconic and repeated shot throughout the series, particularly as it was used during Lorne Greene's "Fleeing the Cylon Tyranny" outro narration. This reel remains in good condition with some tape residue from production.
