A pistol used in the production of the first of Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy, Batman Begins. After losing his parents in a tragic armed robbery, young billionaire Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale) turns to a life of vigilantism and becomes the saviour of Gotham City, Batman.
This Smith & Wesson 6904 pistol was the issue sidearm of Gotham detective Jim Gordon (Gary Oldman) as he pursues, and later joins forces with, the Batman. Made of hard rubber with a metal armature for rigidity, this stunt version of the weapon would have been used for scenes where a non-firing version of the pistol was not required. A high quality casting, the weapon’s stampings and serial numbers are moulded into the sides. The prop firearm is finished in black with a metallic silver used for the ejection port and red on the safety.

In very good condition, the pistol is presented in a stunning custom-made display featuring the film’s title artwork, two stills from the film and an opening front panel allowing direct access to the piece.

The violent crime reduction bill means that this particular prop can only be sold to customers who reside outside the UK. Generally speaking, it is illegal for a resident of the UK to buy this item.
