A Severed Corpse Head from Michael Bay’s 2003 buddy cop blockbuster, Bad Boys II. In the film, Detectives Burnett (Martin Lawrence) and Lowrey (Will Smith) try to stop a drug smuggler from bringing ecstasy into Miami through emptied cadavers. This head was made as part of such a cadaver, to be used in a sequence where the detectives are chasing down a van jettisoning dead bodies. The head is made of an inner foam core with a silicone skin on top. The skin has been made to look as realistic as possible, with a complicated paint job approximating human skin town. Hair for the eye lashes, eye brows, and hair line has been punched into the face with most of the head hair completed with a glued on salt and pepper wig. Acrylic, glassy eyes finish the look. The edges of the neck are uneven, suggesting this head was once attached to a full body, as seen in the film. This piece shows very little wear and remains in good condition.
