An unfinished custom-made fiberglass xenomorph head component from the 2007 sci-fi action film Alien vs. Predator: Requiem. In the film, Xenomorphs led by the murderous Predalien created an alien hive in a hospital in Gunnison, Colorado by impregnating women in the maternity ward.
This finely-detailed piece features the iconic domed head is painted black with lighter coloring on the teeth and hardened lacquer applied to resemble slime. Its elegant ridged details and biomechanical apportioning hark back to H.R. Giger’s highly influential creature designs from the 1979 classic Alien. While there are small fractures of the fiberglass on the scalp and mouth, this partly completed head remains in very good condition overall.
