A number plate from the VW Beetle used in hilarious comedy sequel Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me. All seems well for Austin Powers (Mike Myers) – he got the girl, saved the world, and finally gets some peace and quiet. But when Dr Evil (also Mike Myers) uses a time machine to steal Austin’s mojo, Austin is left impotent. Can Austin overcome the loss of his mojo and save the world once again?
This number plate was used for Austin’s time-travelling automobile, which can be seen as Austin travels back in time to the 1960s to take back his mojo from his nemesis, Dr. Evil. Made from stamped metal, the number plate reads “SWINGER 2”, with the plate finished in black with white lettering.

Displaying some minor wear from use, the number plate has suffered some minor knocks along the way and has some exposed sections of metal. However, in spite of this wear, the number plate remains in very good condition, and comes presented in a psychedelic custom frame featuring a laser cut mount board with the title artwork and stills of the ‘Bug’. The display also features an opening front panel, allowing direct access to the piece.
