A collection of maps, notebooks, notepads and pencils from Mira Nair’s 2009 biographical film Amelia.

Amelia Earhart (Hilary Swank) writes her thoughts and adventures in her notebooks and notepads and uses maps to navigate throughout the film. This collection consists of five maps, three notebooks, five flip notepads and three yellow pencils. Three of the maps are made from fabric, two from paper, while the three notebooks have hardcovers and all feature Amelia’s gold embossed initials ‘AE’, two of which include pages of handwritten notes in pencil. The notepads come in three different sizes and include handwritten notes in pencil and pen; some pages have been separated from the pads.

The collection displays minor wear from production use, including some torn edges of two notepad covers and fraying of the fabric maps. Otherwise, the collection remains in an overall excellent condition.
