An Electro (Jamie Foxx) complete burnt bodysuit and mask from Marc Webb's 2014 superhero sequel, The Amazing Spider-Man 2! Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) suits up once again as Spider-Man as New York City is threatened by a number of foes, including Electro, the Green Goblin (Dane DeHaan), and Rhino (Paul Giamatti). After being burnt to a crisp in an accident at Oscorp, Max Dillon wakes up in the mortuary where he sheds his burnt layer of skin, revealing his electrifying blue body underneath.
This bodysuit was worn by Jamie Fox during the mortuary scene in which Max awakens from his melted state. The bodysuit is constructed of dark foam latex resembling melted skin, and features areas where Electro's blue silicone skin is visible underneath. Additionally, there are shaped chunks of flesh which are designed to fall away from the costume and are not magnetically attached.
The bodysuit features a zipper closure along the back that is hidden by a flap of foam latex. The neckline includes snap buttons where the mask attaches with snap buttons. The suit includes the right arm constructed in place, while the left arm includes a sleeve that is attached with snap buttons.
Paired with the bodysuit is Electro's SFX burn mask, which is made of foam latex over a fabric lined fiberglass faceplate. The mask, which shows "Jamie" written inside, includes chunks of charred skin that are magnetically attached and easily removable. The cowl includes bits of Max's burned shirt around the neck.
This costume shows some wear due to production use, however the piece remains in overall very good worn condition.
