A salvage crew backpack from James Cameron's sci-fi action sequel Aliens. The salvage crew wore their backpacks as they discovered Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) in stasis aboard the drifting Narcissus escape pod. The backpacks were originally made for the 1981 sci-fi thriller Outland and were repainted and repurposed for Aliens.

The backpack is made predominantly of fibreglass, with a layer of sanded-down resin in places. It is painted yellow and features a metal appendage protruding from the left side. Straps secure the backpack over the shoulders and around the waist, although the shoulder straps no longer clip into place. There is wear from production use and age, including scuffing, scratches, sections where attachments have come away, and areas where the paint has been sanded away. There are several holes and cracks in the fibreglass, on both the front and back. Dimensions: 22 cm x 50 cm x 60 cm (8 3/4" x 19 3/4" x 23 1/2")
