”Lieutenant, what do those pulse rifles fire?”
A Hollywood Collectibles Group pulse rifle, replicating the weapon used in the James Cameron’s sci-fi classic Aliens.
Cast adrift for almost sixty years after the events of Alien, Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) reluctantly joins a platoon of hardened Colonial Marines in the hopes of saving the residents of a colony infested with grotesque humanoid aliens.
To create the definitive Pulse Rifle, Hollywood Collectibles Group obtained one of the few surviving Hero Pulse Rifles, meticulously measured and photographed every detail and then thoroughly recreated the weapon. This is one of the most iconic movie weapons ever to blast its way onto the big screen, the Pulse Rifle is the primary infantry weapon of choice for the US Colonial Marines in James Cameron’s Oscar winning Aliens.
Made from metal, this pulse rifle features aluminium shrouds that have the same dimensions as the original ‘Hero’ Pulse Rifle, a retractable shoulder stock, barrel vent, a removable magazine and a ‘grenade launcher’ pump handle. The main body of the pulse rifle is finished in an olive green and black and has been hand painted with lots of detail. The rifle also features a light up LED counter display which sets at ‘95’ in red when the magazine is inserted. The counter is powered by two AAA batteries (not included). The main body of the pulse rifle is finished in an olive green and black and has been hand painted with intricate detail.
This piece comes complete with a themed display stand and is numbered 427 out of 1000 that were made. The rifle displays light wear to the paint work on one side of the body and minor damage to the underneath of the carrying handle. However, the pulse rifle remains in overall very good condition.
