A xenomorph warrior head from James Cameron's sci-fi action sequel Aliens. Xenomorph warriors attacked the Colonial Marines throughout the film.

The creature design for Aliens was a simplified version of the original 1979 design, allowing for maximum mobility, given the hordes of xenomorphs that needed to move along walls, across ceilings and through tunnels. Durability and practicality were key design concerns, so the dome from the original Alien design was removed, resulting in the ribbed design seen on this piece.

Made from black urethane foam, the head is hand-painted with contrasting dark hues to create an organic, insectoid look. Its even texture is the result of sponge painting, while intricate facial and anatomical details enhance its realism. Clear resin is applied all over to give the head a wet and organic appearance. The head has some cracks and paint wear from production use and age. The foam around the neck has warped and cracked, and the head remains in a fragile condition. Dimensions: 92 cm x 21 cm x 40 cm (36 1/4" x 8 1/4" x 15 3/4")
