Sgt. Apone's (Al Matthews) flak jacket from James Cameron's sci-fi sequel Aliens. Colonial Marines wore flak jackets as part of their uniform, although Apone's was not seen in the final cut of the film. Flak jackets are padded and weighted with materials to protect the wearer from shrapnel and other lower-velocity projectiles.

The green jacket features Apone's name and rank patches on the right chest, and US flag and USCM patches on the left chest. The jacket zips up at the front. It is size "large" and features an instruction label in the collar.
