A VP70M sidearm pistol from James Cameron's sci-fi sequel Aliens. The Colonial Marines, including Pvt. Frost (Ricco Ross) and Lt. Gorman (William Hope), wielded Heckler & Koch VP70Ms when they investigated the disappearance of the colonists on LV-426 with Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver).

Cameron and armourer Simon Atherton selected the VP70 as the signature USCM sidearm due to its futuristic design, relative obscurity, and affordability. This semi-automatic, three-round burst fire pistol was sympathetically deactivated following production, but retains its full cocking and moving action and a removable magazine. It is stamped "Mod VP'70 9MM x 19" on the side and comes with a brown, red-fleece lined case labelled "M.A.M."

The pistol exhibits scratching and scuffs on the metal from production use, and the case exhibits staining and peeling. As this lot ships from Los Angeles, shipping should be arranged with Propstore prior to bidding. Dimensions: 21.75 cm x 4 cm x 14 cm (8.5" x 1.5" x 5.5")
