A ¼ Scale Alien Queen head and arms used in the production of James Cameron’s seminal sci-fi action movie Aliens. Cast adrift for almost sixty years after the events of Alien, Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) reluctantly joins a platoon of hardened Colonial Marines in the hopes of saving the residents of a colony infested with grotesque humanoid aliens.
The nightmarish Alien Queen was portrayed using a combination of full scale animatronics and various scaled puppet incarnations to be filmed in miniature. These special components were recovered from one of the miniature after filming had completed, and are creatively presented here in the same pose they would have been fixed in during filming, along with an unfinished smaller centre arm from the creature.

The components are made from foam latex with a sturdy metal internal armature. The finished pieces have been painted a dull grey-blue that seems to shimmer slightly in the right light, with the bared teeth given a glossy finish to appear as slimy as the full-scale creature's maw. The head remains in great condition, however the arms have begun to harden and exhibit small cracks in the surface due to age and should be treated with care.

In good overall condition, the display measures 28cm x 28cm x 23cm (11" x 11" x 9") when assembled.
