A full scale Alien Queen head and pair of arms built for promotional purposes. The head was made for and used in the promotion of the release of the boxed set of the Alien films on VHS and was hung at Tower Records in Leicester Square, London, while the arms were used in the promotion of the cinematic release of Aliens.
The pieces were cast directly from the original moulds for the monster, which were provided by 20th Century Fox at the time. The head is cast in fibreglass while the arms have been cast in a firm rubber, with the set finished to look just like the original Alien Queen. The head is suspended by steel cabling while the arms are attached to a metal wall bracket.

Having been used for a variety of projects since its initial use, the head was acquired in a worn condition from the hire company who had been its caretakers. Bruce Hansing, who was involved in building the original Queen, was brought in to sympathetically and carefully restore it to its former glory. Since that time she has hung in the main Prop Store warehouse as a main attraction for visitors touring our facility.

This incredible piece measures 251.5cm x 124.5cm x 119.5cm (99" x 49" x 47").
