An alien manta ship maquette from James Cameron's 1989 sci-fi drama, The Abyss. In the film, a civilian diving team is enlisted to search for a lost nuclear submarine and face danger while encountering an alien aquatic that created the bio-mechanical alien water-craft that Lindsey (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio) attempts to photograph.
Cast from one solid piece, this ship has a metallic blue finish, and shows the ship in its fully extended shape. Two holes near top indicate where the pilot of the ship would be. This maquette comes comes resting a top a black rod and clear Plexiglas display stand.
This item features some signs of wear from production use and age, including some minor chipped paint along the edges of the ship, but remains in overall excellent condition.
