This rolled insert represents what some consider as one of the best formats created for this classic Universal horror/comedy crossover. It depicts a blended image of the three famous monsters.

This poster has chipping in the upper right corner border and tears in the upper center border into the artwork. Restoration and airbrush work has fixed a previous stain in the lower left border that extended into the artwork.

The first movie to team the '40s double act Bud Abbott and Lou Costello with Universal's monsters - in this case, Dracula (Bela Lugosi), the Wolf Man (Lon Chaney Jr.), and Frankenstein's Monster (Glenn Strange). It proved a huge hit, and four more monster crossover films followed.
