These are two original t-shirts given to the cast and crew of Steven Spielberg's 1941. One has the quote "'I will not make this movie if it costs a penny over eleven million dollars.'-Steven Spielberg on the making of "1941". July, 1978". The other has classic artwork featuring the film's title "1941" in front of a stylized sun with the Hollywood sign in the foreground. The sign is as it appeared in the film "Hollywoodland." Both 100% cotton, these shirts are from the Tim Matheson Collection and are both autographed personally by Tim with his character "Loomis" added underneath in silver sharpie.

Two t-shirts in good condition, with only a slight bit of typical age fading. There are no defects nor fraying of the collars, sleeves, or shirt bottoms, and the artwork and autographs display well.

This rare foray into comedy by Steven Spielberg follows the madcap mishaps surrounding a misguided Japanese attack on the Californian coast. Its impressive cast includes Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi, Christopher Lee, Toshiro Mifune and Ned Beatty.
