This striking poster features one of the most recognizable movie poster images from the 1970s. It was created for director Mel Brooks' beloved comedy that parodies the classic Universal Horror films of the 1930s. The poster is folded and shows some signs of wear, including pinholes and general crimping along the edges. There is also light wear on the right side of the bottom edge, as well as an area of surface paper loss in the bottom right corner. Additionally, the poster has a number rubber-stamped on the lower right side. Despite these imperfections, the colors remain vibrant, showcasing the outstanding design by artist John Alvin.

Directed by Mel Brooks, who co-wrote with star Gene Wilder, this peak-Brooks film affectionately parodies classic horror movies, with Wilder playing the grandson of Victor Frankenstein ("it's pronounced Fronkensteen!"), who travels to Transylvania and picks up his grandfather's experiments.
