The script that started it all. The Young and the Restless debuted on March 26, 1973 with a 30-minute episode introducing the residents of Genoa City. Episode One featured the mysterious Brad Elliott (as played by Tom Hallick), and showed the budding young love of Chris Brooks (as played by Trish Stewart) and Snapper Foster (as played by William Gray Espy). Following the series' success, The Young and the Restless Original Theme & TV Sound Track Music album was produced and released in 1974.

This lot consists of a photocopied script of Episode One and one album with its original cover. Both are in good overall condition, with some minor wear on the album due to age.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of The Young and the Restless' co-creator, William J. Bell, to benefit care, support and research programs.
