A country-of-origin British Quad for The Beatles' full-length animated feature Yellow Submarine. In stark contrast to their first feature, A Hard Day's Night, which was shot in black and white and released just four years earlier, Heinz Edelmann's distinctive animation in Yellow Submarine epitomises the psychedelic imagery that defined the late 1960s. The Fab Four were initially reluctant to participate in the film but, having committed to a three-picture deal with United Artists, ultimately appeared in cameo form at the end. After attending a screening, they became more enthusiastic about the project, with John Lennon remarking in a 1980 interview, "It's my favourite Beatles movie."

Conservation linen-backed with heavy restoration to the whites and many of the characters on the right side of the poster. The credits along the bottom have been retouched and there is a fair amount of scattered restoration to address surface creasing.
