A Pair of Wolverine's (Hugh Jackman) CG Reference Claws from Bryan Singer's 2003 action sequel, X-Men 2: X-Men United. In the film, Professor Xavier's (Patrick Stewart) team of X-Men must unite with rival mutants in order to rescue their own from the clutches of Col. William Stryker (Brian Cox), who plans to harvest mutants as weapons. These CG reference claws were made for sequences in which Wolverine's claws would have been digitally extended from Hugh Jackman's knuckles, as LED lights were easier for the animators to track than simple white dots.
This lot consists of a pair of claw grips, each with three claws, that are made from metal and wire with LED's outfitted on each of the claws. The base of each grip have been wrapped in gaffers tape so that the electronic are not exposed. The grips allow the LED wired claws to fit comfortably between the fingers.
The claws show minor wear due to production use, however they remain in overall very good condition.
