A prop pistol used in the production of the 2003 action sequel X-Men 2. An attempt on the president’s life results in a crackdown of mutant activity. As the Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and the X-Men try to get to the bottom of the assassination attempt, a dark presence from Wolverine’s (Hugh Jackman) past emerges from the shadows – Colonel William Stryker (Brian Cox).
This specially constructed weapon was made for the sequence when metal manipulating mutant Magneto (Sir Ian McKellen) is sprung from his plastic prison by Stryker's loyal servant Lady Deathstrike (Kelly Hu). The weapon is crafted from transparent rubber, with a distinctive yellow strip inside and white painted barrel. The trigger and guard remain quite soft and supple to prevent injury during use on the film’s frenetic prison break sequence, with the rest of the weapon’s rubber construction quite firm.

Displaying some minor wear from use and time spent in storage, the pistol remains in very good condition. The piece comes with a certificate of authenticity from Fox.
