A two piece leather costume and boots worn in the production of the 2003 action sequel X-Men 2. An attempt on the president’s life results in a crackdown of mutant activity. As the Charles Xavier (Patrick Stewart) and the X-Men try to get to the bottom of the assassination attempt, a dark presence from Wolverine’s (Hugh Jackman) past emerges from the shadows – Colonel William Stryker (Brian Cox). This costume was worn by the enigmatic Lady Deathstrike (Kelly Hu) as she takes on Wolverine as Stryker’s right hand woman. Lady Deathstrike wears this costume for most of the movie, eventually finished off in the same laboratory that gave Wolverine his adamantium claws.

The costume is composed of a black suede jacket with a leather collar, lace-up detailing running down the back and corset-style boning around the waist, a pair of all-leather trousers with lace-up detailing from the knee down and a pair of black, pointed leather heel boots. The jacket is marked “LDS 1” internally, while the boots have a label inside which reads “Y.O Hero” which stand for Yuriko Oyama, Lady Deathstrike’s alias. The trousers are have the words “LDS hero #8” written into the waistband. The boots are marked as size 38 with no other sizes marked.

Made bespoke for the actress and displaying minimal wear from use and time spent in storage, this awesome costume remains in excellent condition.
