Professor Charles Xavier's (Patrick Stewart) three-piece suit with screen-matched jacket from Bryan Singer's X2: X-Men United. Xavier, also known as "Professor X," wore a variety of suits throughout the film, including a dark grey pinstripe suit at the end of the film as he appeared to the President (Cotter Smith) during the press conference. This suit jacket matches based on the way the pattern falls at the lapel and neck, as well as unique features in the weave of the fabric.

This suit consists of a wool suit jacket lined with blue satin featuring a Dominic Gherardi label printed with "Patrick Stewart" "May 2002"; a matching vest lined with blue satin featuring a Dominic Gherardi label printed with "Patrick Stewart" "June 2002"; and a matching pair of trousers featuring a Dominic Gherardi label printed with "Patrick Stewart" "May 2002." This suit was designed and bespoke to look optimal when the wearer is seated, as Xavier was wheelchair bound. This lot exhibits pulled threads on the interior tag seams.
