Wolverine's costume and claws from Bryan Singer's comic-book adaptation X-Men. Wolverine wore his X-suit costume for the climactic scenes at the Statue of Liberty, where Magneto (Ian McKellen) had planted his mutation-inducing machine. During combat, Wolverine brandished his claws, which extended between the knuckles on each of his hands.

Custom-made for production, the costume consists of a black leather bodysuit featuring a standing collar and a zip fastening running down the front. Several patches of padding adorn the shoulders, sleeves, hip and knee areas. Bronze and gold-coloured piping trim decorate the suit, and the "X" symbol has been added to each side of the collar, the back of the neck. The costume also has an "X" belt buckle. Protruding from the gloves is Wolverine's signature claws, made of rubber with a metal armature. They are painted faux-silver to resemble the adamantium that coats Wolverine's skeleton. Completing the costume are a pair of boots featuring a chunky sole.

The costume comes presented on a custom display mannequin and displays some light distressing to the leather.
