A child dummy used in the production of James Watkins’ 2012 horror-drama, The Woman in Black. The film follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) as he travels to a remote village terrorised by a vengeful ghost. Kipps finds himself in a race against time to discover the mystery of the spectre woman before she takes all the children of Crythin Gifford.
This dummy and others like it would have been carried by Arthur Kipps from the muddy marshes to Eel Marsh House nursery. The dummy is made from of foam with metal armatures for support and posing. The face is painted brown to resemble the muddy marshes it would have been pulled from. The body in comparison is quite clean suggesting it may have been shrouded. The dummy features slight distressing, but remains as a whole in good production-used condition, measuring approximately 127cm x 47cm x 33cm (50” x 18.5” x 13”).

This prop is an original asset used in the production of the 2012 film The Woman In Black. The asset is made available through a partnership between Prop Store and Exclusive Media. This is not a replica, but rather an original piece from the making of the film.
