An assortment of scrawled book pages used in the production of James Watkins’ 2012 horror-drama, The Woman in Black. The film follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) as he travels to a remote village terrorised by a vengeful ghost. Kipps finds himself in a race against time to discover the mystery of the spectre woman before she takes all the children of Crythin Gifford.
These book pages and others like them would have been used as Arthur Kipps begins to sort through the correspondence between Alice Drablow (Alisa Khazanova) and her sister Jennet (Liz White). There are sixteen paper sheets in total, including book pages and a single music sheet. Each page has been drawn upon with black ink and red ink used to imitate the look of blood. The pages feature various hand-written phrases and drawings of the Woman in Black herself. Distressed for use in the production, the pages remain in very good production-used condition, with the largest sheet measuring approximately 26cm x 17cm (10.25” x 6.75”).

This prop is an original asset used in the production of the 2012 film The Woman In Black. The asset is made available through a partnership between Prop Store and Exclusive Media. This is not a replica, but rather an original piece from the making of the film.
