Eel Marsh House entrance hall and corridor concept artwork used in the production of James Watkins’ 2012 horror-drama, The Woman In Black. The film follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) as he travels to a remote village terrorised by a vengeful ghost. Kipps finds himself in a race against time to discover the mystery of the spectre woman before she takes all the children of Crythin Gifford.
These concepts would have been used to visualise the appearance of Eel Marsh House’s entrance hall and corridor. Similar images are seen in The Making of The Woman In Black documentary. The artwork is made up of two printed gloss images on matte black mounting board. One picture features the first floor corridor with the locked nursery door at the end. The second details the entrance hall from the first floor point of view, highlighting the main stairway. The gloss is slightly scratched and there is minor distressing on the mount board corners. The piece remains in good production-used condition and measures 38.5cm x 33cm x 0.5cm (15.25” x 13” x 0.25”).

This prop is an original asset used in the production of the 2012 film The Woman In Black. The asset is made available through a partnership between Prop Store and Exclusive Media. This is not a replica, but rather an original piece from the making of the film.
