An assortment of letters used in the production of James Watkins’ 2012 horror-drama, The Woman in Black. The film follows a young lawyer, Arthur Kipps (Daniel Radcliffe) as he travels to a remote village terrorised by a vengeful ghost. Kipps finds himself in a race against time to discover the mystery of the spectre woman before she takes all the children of Crythin Gifford.
These letters and others like them would have been used as Arthur Kipps begins to sort through the correspondence between Alice Drablow (Alisa Khazanova) and her sister Jennet (Liz White). There are six paper documents in total, including four letters, one envelope and one folded sheet addressed to ‘Alice’. Each sheet has been written upon with black or red ink. The letters feature various hand-written paragraphs of correspondence between Alice and Jennet. The pages remain in excellent production-used condition, with the largest sheet measuring 18cm x 12cm (7.25” x 4.75”).

These props are original assets used in the production of the 2012 film The Woman In Black. The asset is made available through a partnership between Prop Store and Exclusive Media. This is not a replica, but rather an original piece from the making of the film.
