A set of ‘hero’ reference photos from the production of Tom Harper’s 2014 supernatural horror sequel Woman in Black 2: The Angel of Death.

These photos were collated and printed early in the production process to provide the art department reference for how sets and characters could look. The film is set during WWII, so gas masks, air raid shelters and bunkers feature heavily, along with old, rotting houses and ghostly apparitions. The collection features 19 pages, 9 of which are bound with a metal fastener, with the remaining loose. They all come in a plastic pocket which has ‘Hero Angel of Death References’ handwritten in black marker pen on the front.

The photos have some wear from production use, including creasing and minor staining, but overall remain in an excellent condition.
