A paint test for Connor (Jason Momoa) made for the production of David Hayter’s action horror film Wolves. After discovering he is a werewolf, Cayden Richards embarks on a journey that finds him in a town inhabited by a group of lycans.
This paint test was created early in production as a concept for how Connor may appear in his werewolf form but was ultimately altered in the final designs. The piece is made up of appliances applied to a polyfoam bust which has been painted with detail. Hair is applied throughout the chest with glue. The face is detailed with foam latex appliances and is also painted with detail. Faux hair is applied throughout the face and a hair net is attached to the scalp. Scars are applied throughout the bust, giving the character a villainous appearance. The head also features a pair of bright yellow acrylic eyes and a set of resin wolf teeth have been inserted into this mouth.
Presented on a custom wood base, this test bust shows some signs of wear from storage but is in overall great condition.
