Sheet music for Harold Arlen's and E.Y. Harburg's "Over the Rainbow" from Victor Fleming's The Wizard of Oz signed by Harburg. Dorothy Gale (Judy Garland) sang "Over the Rainbow" as she yearned to be anywhere but Kansas in the film's opening sepia-toned sequence. The landmark tune won Arlen and Harburg the Academy Award® for Best Music, Original Song and quickly became Garland's signature showstopper, making it one of the most recognizable songs in the history of American music.

Printed in black-and-white by Leo Feist, Inc., this vintage booklet's cover is signed in black marker by Harburg above a picture of Gale, priced at "$1.50," and stamped for the Berkeley Music House of Oakland, CA. Protective paper has been applied to the corners, though the booklet still exhibits some creasing and edge wear from age. Dimensions: 16" x 20" (40.75 cm x 51 cm)
