A script and storyboard from the production of Thom Eberhardt’s 1988 mystery comedy Without a Clue.

This script, dated ‘November 5th, 1987’, consists of 128 pages printed on white paper and bound in yellow card by two metal fasteners. It displays the film's initial working title ‘The Imposter of Baker Street’ on the title page. Accompanying this is a stapled set of drawn storyboards printed on 15 sheets of A3 and nine sheets of A4 coving scenes ‘102’ through scenes ‘131’, one stapled set of storyboards printed on A4 paper for scenes ‘70’ and four loose A4 storyboard sheets featuring hand-drawn pencil drawings and annotations. Also included are three additional script pages with a title page addressed to Michael Caine, Paul Freeman and Thom Eberhardt featuring the title ‘Sword Fight Between Holmes and Moriarty’; a four-page One-liner schedule printed on pink paper and stapled together; and a ‘The New’ Pinewoods Studios information book.

This collection exhibits wear from production use, including a tear in the script's front cover and page creasing, minor stain and edge wear to the storyboard sheets. Otherwise, it remains in good overall condition.
