A bound script from Bruce Robinson's Withnail & I autographed by the director and key cast. Two unemployed actors-the anxious, luckless Marwood (Paul McGann) and acerbic alcoholic Withnail (Richard E. Grant)-drifted between their squalid flat, the unemployment office, and pub. When they holidayed "by mistake" at the country house of Withnail's flamboyant uncle, Monty (Richard Griffiths), they encountered tedium, terrifying locals, and torrential rain.

Withnail & I became one of the greatest British films made and was an inspirational piece that influenced other filmmakers in their works such as Shane Black's The Nice Guys, Todd Sklar's Awful Nice, and David Gordon Green's Pineapple Express.

This lot consists of a 119-page script in a black hard plastic spine with a clear acetate cover autographed in black ink on the cover page by Bruce Robinson (twice), Grant, and McGann. The spine is labelled "Withnail & I." Included is a colour print image of Robinson. This lot exhibits discolouration and tears to the page edges. Dimensions: 21.75 cm x 30 cm x 1.5 cm (8.5" x 11.75" x 0.5")
