Hand-drawn Harper Goff "Augustus Gloop" concept art from Mel Stuart's Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Augustus Gloop (Michael Bollner), a gluttonous child obsessed with chocolate, was the first in Wonka's (Gene Wilder) factory tour to face a disastrous event that removed him from a chance at receiving the end-of-the-tour grand prize.

Created by art director Harper Goff, this hand-drawn illustration, rendered in color pencils and graphite on illustration board, features Augustus coated in chocolate with tape strips around the edges. The back is marked in black ink "Wonka Harper Goff Art Dept Augustus Gloop In Chocolate River 1971." This lot exhibits sticky residue on the tape. Dimensions: 8" x 8" x 0.25" (20.5 cm x 20.5 cm x 0.75 cm)
