Hand-illustrated concept artwork for a matte painting of sunset from Ron Howard's fantasy film Willow. To render the fantasy world of the Nelwyn, the film made extensive use of large-scale matte paintings created by Industrial Light & Magic's (ILM) matte photography unit.

This painting was created as concept artwork for a matte painting of the Nelwyn village at sunset. It is rendered in mixed media on illustration board labeled "MP5" in crayon and "Camera 51 inch high" in red marker. The artwork exhibits multiple stains along the borders from production. Dimensions: 12" x 8" (30.5 cm x 20.5 cm)
