A Tippett Studios VFX storyboard binder from Ron Howard's Willow. Phil Tippett worked on visual effects for the film with Industrial Light & Magic (ILM). This binder was handed out to the Art Department during a meeting with George Lucas and Ron Howard, and was passed on to Tippett as he worked on visual effects sequences, including the Eborsisk scene at Tir Asleen. The name Eborsisk is a portmanteau of famous film critics Roger Ebert and Gene Siskel. Tippett brought the Eborsisk to life using go-motion animation, a technique he developed to make the movements of stop-motion creatures look more fluid and realistic. Tippett was nominated for Best Visual Effects for his work on this film at the 61st Academy Awards®.

The illustrated storyboards are printed on letter-sized white paper and are bound in a red binder. They feature boards from a number of sequences in the film, including "Wagon Chase," "Troll Bridge," and "Snow Camp." Also included with the lot are boards for "Tir Asleen," which are marked "Phil's Shots" and depict the Eborsisk sequence with printed illustrations and descriptions of each shot.
