A script signed by three members of the cast of Ron Howard’s 1988 fantasy adventure Willow.
Willow (Warwick Davis), a reluctant dwarf, must protect a special baby from the clutches of the evil Queen Bavmorda (Jean Marsh).
This ‘Second Draft Second Revision’ script is dated ‘April 1, 1987’ and was written by Bob Dolman, with the story by George Lucas. It is signed on the title page by three members of the cast: Warwick Davis, who play the titular character; Pat Roach, who played Gen. Kael; and Phil Fondacaro, who played Vohnkar. All three signatures are written in black marker pen.
The script itself is 112 pages long, including the title page. Some of the pages are printed on different coloured paper, showing that these pages are later revisions of certain scenes. There are no highlights or annotations, however the number ‘000285’ is stamped in red ink on all of the white pages. ‘Willow’ has also been written in marker pen along the spine of the script. The pages are held together with a metal fastener and have a front and back cover made from beige card.
The script shows some wear from production use and age, including creasing, curled corners, and some light staining on the cover. Despite this, and considering the age of the item, it is in a very good condition.
Materials: Card, Paper, Ferrous Metals.
