This may be the most rare format for this groundbreaking Western and is rarely offered at auction. This British quad poster is folded, with an additional crease, and shows some edge wear, primarily on the left side of the lower edge and along the right edge. There are also two light water stains on the right side of the lower white field. This unrestored piece would make an outstanding addition to any collection focused on Westerns or classic films in general. Director Sam Peckinpah revolutionized the portrayal of violence in film through his innovative use of slow motion in his classic western action drama.

"The Wild Bunch" is an epic revisionist Western directed by Sam Peckinpah, starring William Holden, Ernest Borgnine, Robert Ryan, Edmond O'Brien, Ben Johnson, and Warren Oates. The story follows an aging outlaw gang along the Mexico-U.S. border in 1913 as they struggle to adapt to a rapidly changing world. The film sparked controversy for its graphic violence and depiction of ruthless men doing whatever it takes to survive. "The Wild Bunch" is renowned for its innovative use of rapid, multi-angle editing that combines normal and slow-motion shots-a groundbreaking technique in 1969. The screenplay by Walon Green, Sam Peckinpah, and Roy Sickner earned an Oscar nomination for Best Screenplay, while Jerry Fielding's score was nominated for Best Original Score.
