This lot will be auctioned on Sunday, November 6th. A pair of flying monkey masks from the long-running hit stage musical based on the characters from the Wizard of Oz, Wicked. All the masks for the Broadway show were created by the make-up effects company W.M. Creations, Inc.

These masks are made from foam rubber and latex and feature long brown plastic hairs that have been hand punched into the skull. Each mask was uniquely hand-painted in red, and brown tones, with additional make-up applied for each performance. Names written in black pen on the inside identify these masks to have been worn by "Jared" and "Mitchell". The masks exhibit wear from production use, including peeling areas of painted latex. Dimensions (each): 31 cm x 21 cm x 32 cm (12 1/4" x 8 1/4" x 12 1/2")
