Triangle, 1917

A striking stone litho WWI recruitment poster authorized by the War Department to be used at movie theaters and distributed by Triangle Films, a major motion picture company founded in 1915. This large format is printed in three pieces and is impressive in its display. We're unaware of this poster ever being offered in an auction.

The poster has fold separations and slight paper loss, primarily at the center points. There is also some minor chipping. The upper border has one pinhole and some slight staining.
