A rare “Lewd, Crude & In the Mood” crew gift comic and a Gary Wolf-autographed book from the production of Robert Zemeckis’ Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

Wolf wrote ‘Who Censored Roger Rabbit?’, the book upon which the film is based and has inscribed the first page “You’re a 24 carrot guy, Craig” alongside a picture of Roger. Underneath the picture it reads “Gary K Wolf and Roger Rabbit too!”.

The crew gift is a black and white pornographic comic book, featuring 8 panels and starring Jessica Rabbit. A letter of authenticity from Wolf explains that these types of comic were common in the 30s and 40s and Jessica’s appearance in “Lewd, Crude & In the Mood” was a significant plot point in the book. The production thought it would be funny to produce some as crew gifts and approximately 50 were made, with this being stamped “000013” on the back.

The book and comic are both in excellent condition considering their age.

Materials: Paper, Card, Ferrous Metals.
